Italy Rallies for Victory

Italy conceded a goal after just 23 seconds in their UEFA Euro 2024 match against Albania but rallied back to win 2-1 on June 15th in Rome. The goal by Armando Broja is the fastest ever conceded by Italy in a major tournament.

However, Italy responded quickly with goals from Nicolo Barella in the 25th minute and Lorenzo Insigne in the 32nd minute, giving them a 2-1 lead at halftime. Albania pushed for an equalizer in the second half, but the Italian defense held firm to secure the victory.

The win puts Italy in a strong position to advance to the knockout stages, while Albania's hopes of qualifying are now slim.
