Anne Frank The Girl Who Hid From The Nazis

Anne Frank: The Girl Who Hid from the Nazis

Anne Frank was a young Jewish girl who hid from the Nazis during the Holocaust.

Her diary, which she wrote while in hiding, has become one of the most famous and moving accounts of the Holocaust.

Anne Frank was born in Frankfurt, Germany, on June 12, 1929. Her family moved to Amsterdam, the Netherlands, in 1933, after the Nazis came to power in Germany. In 1942, the Franks went into hiding in a secret annex behind her father's business. They lived in the annex for two years, until they were discovered by the Nazis in 1944.

Anne Frank and her family were sent to the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp. Anne died in the camp in 1945, at the age of 15.

Anne Frank's diary was published in 1947. It has since been translated into more than 60 languages and has sold more than 30 million copies. The diary is a powerful reminder of the horrors of the Holocaust and the importance of fighting against intolerance and hatred.
